Korean Table Setting Guide: Easy Tips for Perfect Meals

Hello! Today Iโ€™m introducing the basics of a Korean table setting and dining etiquette.

For the person eating:

โœ” Rice goes on the left

โœ” Soup goes on the right

โœ” Chopsticks and spoon are placed neatly next to the soup bowl

Side dishes are placed in front of the rice and soup.

Cold side dishes go on the left,

warm side dishes go on the right โ€” this is the basic rule.

At home, people usually place the main dish in the center,

with the side dishes arranged beautifully around it.

When guests visit, the best dishes are placed in front of them as a thoughtful gesture.
